We want to create a school community where teachers, administrators, AND our children can do their best work. We provide support, resources, learning opportunities, and a supportive, caring atmosphere that makes learning fun.

Volunteer work shouldn’t be drudgery. We accomplish a lot and not everything is easy, but we know we’re not balancing the national debt either. We try to enjoy ourselves along the way.

An hour or two a semester really makes a difference. We won’t push you to commit to more than you want to. We know your time is valuable!

Parent involvement is important.
Our number one goal is to get more parents connected to Bonnie Holland Elementary. Research shows that parent involvement in education creates a great school and improves student performance.
This work is very rewarding!
It’s seeing the bright light of learning in a child’s eye; the smile that shows you school is fun and a child feels comfortable in a learning environment. There are lots of rewards, big and small, for those who get involved.
